Careers

Built for the few who clear the bar

We do not run a job board, and we do not lower the bar to fill a seat. We hire a small number of exceptional engineers and researchers. The bar itself is below, stated plainly, so you can judge for yourself before you write to us.

The threshold

Three marks of distinction. You need at least two.

We weigh three signals at the door. A candidate who clearly carries fewer than two of them is not considered. The screen is automatic, and there are no exceptions.

Tier 1 university

A degree from a top-tier university, earned on merit, not merely attended.

Exceptional achievement in cyber

A record that stands out: recognised research, disclosures that moved the field, competition results, or systems you shipped that others now rely on.

Outstanding certification

Elite credentials such as CISSP, and ideally the concentrations ISSAP or ISSEP. Current, and held under a license number we can verify.

Automatic screen

Fewer than two of these three is an automatic no. We would rather leave the seat empty.

Non-negotiable

Every candidate, without exception, demonstrates mastery

Credentials open the door; depth keeps you in the room. In conversation you will reason fluently across the fundamentals from first principles, not recite them.

Systems, from the datapath up

Datapath, operating-system and compiler-design questions answered from the ground, not from memory.

Test your level →

Down to the metal

Working proficiency across several assembly languages, not a passing familiarity with one.

Advanced data structures

Beyond the textbook, with the trade-offs that decide behaviour at scale.

Cryptography, soundly understood

The concepts and their failure modes, not just the names of libraries.

Graphs beyond theory

Graph reasoning applied to real problems, not merely proved on a board.

And the rest of the canon

The depth you would expect of someone we would trust with the hardest problems we hold.

How to reach us

Our application is a single message, written by you. It is also the first test, of judgement and of concision. Send no CV and no attachment; we read what you write, not what you format. Include each of the following.

  • Your LinkedIn profile, as a link. Put anything not publicly disclosable in the body of the message itself.
  • Your certifications, each with its license number, so we can verify them.
  • Your publications, if any, each with a DOI.
  • GitHub projects you are proud of, if any, each with a URL.
